Day 5 - How important is it for you to be part of the crowd?

Really, it's not at all. I don't care anything about being one of the "popular kids", if we can revert back to middle school for a moment. It doesn't matter to me what your last name is, it doesn't matter to me how cool you dress or how big your wallet is. All that matters to me is how well we get along and how much fun we have together.
And, if you don't want to hang out with me because of the people I hang out with, that's your loss. I don't have time to deal with close minded people with that.
Another thing, which only moderately is related to this topic, is name brands. Like, why does it what brand it is you're wearing, as long as it looks good? Who cares if I bought it at Walmart, it still fits, right? Sure, sometimes the name brand stuff is better. As a Christmas gift to myself, I ordered a Vera Bradley bag (and it is ULTRA adorable :D), but only because they last. I would have been just fine getting the same bag for 10 dollars from Wally-world, if I could have found it there. I don't understand the whole hang up on fitting in. If everyone just did their own thing, we would all fit in just fine.
