Standing backstage, with my headset on, is the best example I can give of being an insider. I have helped shape this performance going on infront of me, helped it grow from a script in to a full fleged play, complete with set changes and light ques. I know exactly what is going to happen and at exactly what point it should happen. I have all of the inside information that I need in order to succced. This is something that not everyone gets to feel, something not everyone can relate with.
Most people spend most of their life wanting to be on the inside. To be involved with anything and everything they can, in any capicity that they are able. They need to feel like they belong. It's a hard thing to become, and an even harder thing to maintain. But there is nothing on this earth to compare to feeling like you belong.
